Tulsa Achieves

Students who live in Tulsa County and graduate from high school with at least a 2.0 GPA can attend Tulsa Community College for free.

Since the innovative Tulsa Achieves program started in 2007, more than 5,000 students have applied. It pays full tuition and fees for up to 63 credit hours or three years, whichever comes first.

Tulsa Achieves is for students who graduate from high school in the spring and go directly to TCC in the fall. Home school graduates also qualify, but students earning a GED do not.

To stay in the program, you have to maintain good academic standing, complete at least 70% of your coursework, and perform 40 hours of volunteer service each year.

If you qualify for other scholarships or grants, those funds will be applied first and Tulsa Achieves will cover any shortfall so there is no cost to you.

Applications, including a financial aid application (FAFSA) confirmation, are due by April 30 of your senior year in high school. (Note that it takes some lead time to complete the FAFSA and wait for confirmation.) For details see Tulsa Achieves.
